Process digitalisation does not mean replacing paper with PDF. It means fundamentally rethinking workflows and designing them to work digitally – faster, less error-prone, more traceable and scalable. Approvals via email chains, signatures on paper, status enquiries by phone – these are the most expensive processes in an organisation because they cost time, patience and traceability. I digitalise approval and release processes so they run transparently, audit-proof and without media breaks.

This includes modelling the process logic, selecting or developing appropriate workflow systems and integrating them into existing systems. Particularly relevant for municipalities with citizen requests, banks with regulated approval processes and companies with complex procurement or project approvals.

Document management & paperless processes

Documents are the backbone of many business processes – and at the same time the most common source of inefficiency. I digitalise document-driven workflows: from incoming processing through structured filing to audit-proof archiving.

This includes the selection and implementation of suitable DMS solutions, integration into existing systems and – where sensible – AI-supported classification and processing of incoming documents.

System integration & data migration

Digitalisation often fails not from lack of will but from the system landscape: ERP here, CRM there, DMS somewhere, data in three different formats. I create connections between systems that have not previously communicated – and migrate data safely and without loss into new structures.

Data migration is never treated as a purely technical task – data quality, validation and a clear rollback concept are a fixed component of every project.

The most common source of friction in digitalisation projects arises at the interface between consulting and implementation: one team analyses, another implements – and much is lost in the process. With me, this interface does not exist.

I accompany digitalisation projects from the first analysis to the productive solution. What was developed in the consulting phase flows directly into implementation – no briefing loss, no restart, no gap between concept and reality.
